As Promised…
Here is the initial sketch for “The Hanged Man” which will be the next card in the project. Unlike “The Wheel of Fortune” which was chosen by my nephew, this one was chosen by cutting my old Rider-Waite-Smith deck three times. This was the last card cut, so here we are.
For my next trick…
The finished line work for the Hanged Man card. Rather than stay with the simple “T” shaped tree from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, I decided to opt for a more scenic look.

And there it is…
The completed Hanged Man is finally up. As promised, there is definitely a fall mood to this one. I had a lot of fun contrasting the colourful foliage with the heavy shadows under the tree in the foreground.
It is Friday as I post this, so I will likely take the weekend to decide what to tackle next and start back fresh on Monday. Check out the News page where I will announce the next card.
