This card, The Page of Cups, was chosen on a whim as it was the next one to cross my mind. Working in a square format for the artwork on the cards has called for some design changes from the original. In this case, I had to bring the person forward hiding the legs from the mid-thigh down despite them appearing full length on the original card. Once again, I opted to change up the colour scheme. Not only did I do this with the clothing, but also I gave the fish in the goblet a much bolder colour than appears in the original. A large part of the fun of using digital media for this project is the ability to experiment with different colours and looks without risk. I find it very liberating and has a really positive impact on the final image.
